Cancellation of a trip must be made 60 days before the departure date. Up until that date, a full refund will be given (less the deposit). We do not assume responsibility for a partial or full refund resulting from a medical cancellation. In addition, there are no refunds given for reasons pertaining to unstable global, national or local political situations that do not directly pose a threat to the safe operations of these charters. Once full payment has been made, an itinerary confirming all details of the trip will be emailed to the email addresses provided. |

Maximum number of guests on overnight Espiritu de Costa Rica surf boat charters is 24. (And we would only take that number if some guests were not surfing. Too many surfers on a break ruins it for everyone. Since we spend most of our time at isolated beaches 99% of the surfers have difficulty getting to, we attempt to avoid overcrowding.) |

Passenger names within a cabin may be changed up until 48 hours prior to departure. (The Costa Rica Coast Guard requires a passenger list 24 hours prior to sail.) |

We do not assume responsibility for those inherent risks which may cause unfortunate accidents or incidents during ordinary travel conditions. EcoQuest will not be held responsible for injury, death, damage, loss, delay, cost, expense or inconvenience arising from travel misfortunes beyond our reasonable control. |

There are no refunds or partial refunds given for poor surf, inclement weather or changes to a charter itinerary due to mechanical or logistical problems. |

Guests may not bring alcohol aboard the boat. Beer, wine and mixed drinks are available at the bar. |
