EcoQuest is available for private charters for individuals, families, non-profit organizations, businesses, student groups, travel and tour operators — virtually any group you may belong to or decide to organize. We provide lunches, beverages and other amenities upon request .

EcoQuest is a 100 foot multi-hull (catamaran) motor vessel. The main and top decks are public areas. A very spacious observation deck is above with an open area approximately 80 feet (24 meters) by 30 feet (9 meters) under a full canopy. Benches run down port and starboard which are extremely popular for sightseeing.

EcoQuest can seat 140 people for breakfast, lunch or dinner at a single seating using both the observation deck and the salon. The observation deck has also been used as a classroom and a dance floor.

Besides the bridge, the main deck has our public restrooms, salon and wet bar.

Meals can be served inside the salon and on the adjourning stern platform, which is covered.

For all of our charters, we normally cater one or more hot meals with drinks, fresh fruit and snacks throughout the voyage. See our sample menu for examples. Should you have a special need that requires your own caterer, we will be happy to work with them and have the food brought aboard and placed on ice or warmed until served.

Destinations

Tortuga Island (about a two hour sail from the Jaco area) is a popular destination for daytime trips. A beautiful beach, snorkeling and other activities are available there. Afterwards (or independently) a leisurely cruise through more than 20 islands in the calm waters of the Gulf of Nicoya is also relaxing and enjoyed by all. Dolphins, porpoise, sea turtles and whales are seen in this area at various times throughout the year.

Sunset Cruises typically go nowhere! Yes, just sit back and enjoy the awe inspiring Costa Rica coastline, the warm blue waters and listen to sizzle of the sun as it touches the water.

The boat may be able to pick your group up at a different location along the Costa Rica Pacific Coast. Consider the beautiful new marina in Quepos / Manual Antonio. Please contact us with some options and we can determine how we might meet your needs.
