EcoQuest is a 100 foot multi-hull (catamaran) motor vessel. The main and top decks are public areas. A very spacious observation deck is above with an open area approximately 80 feet (24 meters) by 30 feet (9 meters) under a full canopy. Benches run down port and starboard which are extremely popular for sightseeing.

EcoQuest can seat 140 people for breakfast, lunch or dinner at a single seating using both the observation deck and the salon. The observation deck has also been used as a classroom and a dance floor.

Besides the bridge, the main deck has our public restrooms, salon and wet bar.

Meals can be served inside the salon and on the adjourning stern platform, which is covered.

Tortuga Island (about a two hour sail from the Jaco area) is a popular destination for daytime trips. A beautiful beach, snorkeling and other activities are available there. Afterwards (or independently) a leisurely cruise through more than 20 islands in the calm waters of the Gulf of Nicoya is also relaxing and enjoyed by all. Dolphins, porpoise, sea turtles and whales are seen in this area at various times throughout the year.
