EcoQuest
is licensed for 160 passengers. She can comfortably carry 125 with room for everyone to enjoy themselves.
Is there a minimum number of passengers required?
No.
Would our group be the only guests aboard?
Yes. When chartering the boat, all passengers would be your invited guests.
Where is the boat located?
The boat is moored in Herradura Bay, just minutes from Jaco or Los Suenos. We can deliver the boat to other locations on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica should you want your guests to board closer to your hotel or destination.
Can we go anywhere we want?
Normally, there are no restrictions other than safety concerns. Our Captain is responsible for the safe operation of the boat and the safety of all crew and passengers. He has the ultimate say as to where the boat will travel and when it is moved. Certain Costa Rica National Parks have entrance fees for all passengers on a boat within their boundaries. Should you want to travel within one of these areas there may be additional fees. Otherwise, tell us where you would like to be picked up, what you would like to see and where your guests will be disembarking.
What about food and drink? What can we bring?
Bring your own snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. If you would like to stock your own bar and bring all of your own alcohol, there is a $400 charge. We will provide a bartender, ice, plasticware and handle all normal and expected clean-up.
Do you have bus pickup available?
Yes. We can provide air conditioned tour buses for ground transportation.
